While watching the popular vote change, I was inspired by the power of numbers. The popular vote was this untangible, anonymous number, part of the ubiquity of numbers that come in and out of our daily lives without any meaning. Often numbers become too unfathomable and I liked the challenge of making such a large number feel powerful, yet relatable while being presented in a small, unassuming way in a handheld mini-book.
